Guided Tour: The Born and Barceloneta quarters
This tour covers the Born district, a picturesque area with its narrow streets and church, and the neighborhood of Barceloneta, formerly a fishing district, which is now the point of access to the beaches of Barcelona and the new luxury marina.

The church of Santa María del Mar, the history of its construction became famous in the bestseller by Ildefonso Falcones, "The Cathedral of the Sea".
The Passeig del Born, a shady street, center of this now fashionable neighborhood, where many modern and unique shops have opened.
The Born market, a former market, transformed into a museum and cultural center since during its modernization they discovered important archaeological remains beneath its foundations. Exposed ruins testify to the structure of this district in the eighteenth century, before its destruction by Spanish troops in 1717.
The Ciudadela Park, one of the largest parks in Barcelona, designed for the Universal Exhibition of 1888. Several buildings constructed for the Universal Exhibition have been preserved such as the monumental fountain, the castle of the three dragons, built by Lluís Domènech i Montaner, one of the fathers of Modernism, and the magnificent greenhouse.
